Alphabetic Index of Typecase Lays and Empty Configurations

The dates shown against lays and empty cases are the date of the source(s) of the information. In some case, there may earlier editions of a book, which have not yet been consulted. Also, it can be presumed that many case lays will have been in use for some years before their detail was published. Empty case diagrams are provided to show the box configuration without any actual type, and to allow readers to print out their own blanks. Where there is a substantial group of cases, eg Upper Cases, English Cases, etc., the entry in this index is simply the link to the selected chronological list of Lays or Empty cases.
