This Indian configuration is one of the "Lower" case lays shown in The Sind National Type Foundry:Book of Type Faces (c1999), which also gives the actual lay of the case, and is used for Devanagari. The case is sized 17 x 38 inches and has 139 boxes, whereas the companion "Upper" case has 200 boxes. The type lay is Indian.
