This English layout is given by Millington: Printing as a School Craft (1963), which is a guide to the Stephenson Blake School Printing Kit. Roy Millington subsequently confirmed that the lay was also used by Sheffield College of Art. As with London School of Printing and Aspinall the numerals are in the centre bay, unlike Heffer and Lindley & Maggs where they are in the right hand bay.

Note that the ( and [ boxes, 0 7 8 and 9 boxes, x and z boxes and ; : . and - boxes should all be the same size. The --- represents an em dash. The empty typecase configuration matches, for example, that of the Caslon 1897, Stephenson, Blake & Co 1922, Harrild 1970, etc. Improved Double Case.
