Empty Reversed Improved Double Case

This English typecase configuration matches the Improved Double Case of Caslon: Specimen of Printing Types (1897), but is reversed so that the upper case boxes are on the left and the lower case boxes on the right. The case has no maker's mark, but is in use at the Alembic Press in 2009, and is possibly for left-handed use. The Improved style is to have the upper case bay with 2 short and 4 tall rows of boxes, whereas the Ordinary Double has 7 rows of same sized boxes. The lay follows the lay of a normal Improved Double, apart from having the capital letters, etc. on the left.
