This Indian configuration is the Nagari Upper Case of Gujarati Type Foundry: Type Book (1928 onwards), and is 36 x 16 inches in size. It can be used for Marathi, Jaini, Nagari and Gujarati types. The configuration also matches cases shown by The Sind National Type Foundry: Book of Type Faces (in 1999) being sized 15 x 35 inches, and for Siridhi (sized 16 x 36 inches), and Hindi and Marathi (sized 12 x 32 inches). The case has eight rows of eight boxes per bay, i.e. there are 2 x 64 boxes, whereas the normal Upper case has 2 x 49 boxes.
