Empty Czech Single Case

This Czech typecase configuration matches the illustration in Zahálka: Přehled knihtisku, 1952. It has 130 boxes, and is partitioned vertically into three bays, and horizontally into an “upper” with five rows of boxes, and then a “lower” section. There is a very similar Czech case, in the National Technical Museum, Prague in June 2019, the only difference being the horizontal partition moved to give four rows of boxes in the “upper” section. Another very similar Czech version illustrated by Bláha in 1963 has no partitions at all. An earlier Czech case has only 125 boxes, there being five fewer in the ‘lower’ section.

The lay of the case is Czech Single.
