This English Hebrew lower case configuration matches that of the Queen's Printing Office case, as illustrated in Savage: The Art of Printing (1841). It is also shown by Joseph Gould: The Letter-press Printer, 1876 and 2nd edition 1881 and fourth edition 1888. It has 54 boxes and differs from the 1824 Johnson case, eg the He and Cheth boxes. It also differs from the 1818 van Winkle case, which has 56 boxes.

The 'upper' case uses the standard Moxon configuration. An actual lay is Gould Hebrew Lower.
