This caps case lay is the standard case shown in Vien-Hung's type specimen book c.1966, as illustrated in a booklet about the Vien-Hung Typefoundry, Saigon and published by The Hill & Dale Press in 1970. There are 120 boxes, to accommodate the various accented letters. There would also have been an equivalent lower case. The empty case is a Vietnamese case. |
