Empty Klein Canon Romein Onder

This Belgian typecase configuration matches the Klein Canon Romein lower case (VV 2,6,R34-O) (undated, but probably pre 1876) in the Plantin-Moretus Museum in 1998. The companion Boven case is Upper, which is the same configuration as Moxon, et al.

The Onder case has 51 boxes, whereas English cases have 53 and U.S. cases have 54 boxes, but it has the same number of rows as an English or U.S. Lower, as does the Laagen Ascendonica case, unlike many of the other Onder cases on view in the Museum, which have a half row less, eg Middelbarr, Klein Romein, Kapitalen, Laagen Tekst.
