These English typecase layouts are shown by Adana in Printing Machines and Type Sundries for the Small Printer 1934 for two of their new wooden Junior type cases. Each case is 11⅜ x 7¾ inches and fits in Adana's own small cabinet. One has 44 boxes and the other 22 boxes, and they are intended to be a more economical size for small founts of type. The ([ box also contains )] and the fi ff box also contains fl, ffi and ffl. Note that Adana have U in alphabetic order, unlike the traditional position of U at the end of the alphabet. However, Q joins J at the end of the alphabet. Because there are few in the fount, X and Z all fit in the same box, as do Q and J.

There are two other styles for a complete fount, Layout 2 and Layout 3, both just using one case. The empty cases are shown as Junior Cases.
