The layout is that shown in American Type Founders: American Line Type Book (1906) and Barnhardt Bros & Spindler: Book of Type Specimens No.9 (1907) and Hamilton Manufacturing Company: Modern Cabinets, Furniture and Materials for Printers, Catalog 14 (c.1907). Two Rivers in Wisconsin was the home of the Hamilton Manufacturing Company, makers of type cases and cabinets.

Note that the boxes with A,B, etc are small caps. The ¦ box represents a single dagger, and ¦¦ a double dagger. The - is an en rule (dash), -- em rule, --- 2em rule ---- 3em rule. The < and <> and > represent a three piece brace. The empty case configuration is Empty Two Rivers Cap.
