This configuration of a lower case for Hebrew is from a diagram held by the Melbourne Museum of Printing in 2019 but now at the New Zealand Printing Museum, 2021. It is a modification of a normal English Lower case, and as the actual case is no longer available, it is not possible to see whether the case was altered by hand, or was an original manufacture. It has 64 boxes, or with a very minor amendment has 63 boxes, whereas a normal Lower has only 53 boxes.

The layout of the case is Hebrew, being for a 24pt or, with the minor amendment, a 30pt fount of type.
