This case configuration matches that shown by Hostettler: Technical Terms of the Printing Industry (1949 and 4th rev ed 1963) as the German/Swiss case used by Zollikofer & Co AG for the German (ie Fraktur) rather than the Latin alphabet. It is also shown by Gaskell, The Lay of the Case, in Bowers, Studies in Bibliography Vol 22 (1969), as derived from Hostettler. It differs slightly from Bauer's Fraktur (1917) case and Druckladen des Gutenberg-Museums Gebrochene Schriften (1997) case. The actual type lay is German Single and Hostettler's equivalent Latin case is German/Swiss Latin.
