This German lay for Latin (Antiqua) characters is that issued by Drucken & Lernen (Oldenburg) with their 1991 lists of equipment, etc. It is almost the same as the Nagra-Einteilung des Antiqua-Schriftkastens of Kollecher & Matuschke, Der Moderne Druck, 1956 and as used at Druckladen des Gutenberg-Museums (Mainz) in 1997 and still in 2003. However, it replaces AE ae with  À, adds Ê to È, and leaves empty ì í î á ò ó ù ú and û. Drucken & Lernen now show a more modern version of the lay.

The boxes with | represent long s. The -- is an em dash, ¦ is a single dagger. Gevierte is em space (Halbgevierte, Viertelgevierte and Drittelgevierte are not specified, but shown as Ausschluß). The empty case configuration is German. (Nagra is the Normenausschuß für das Graphische Gewerbe and that lay is DIN16502).
