This English layout is given by Aspinall: Handicraft Printing (1936), which is also the Instruction Manual for the Adana Flatbed (Horizontal Quarto) press. Note that the AE box also includes ae and OE includes oe.

The typecase configuration matches, for example, that of the 1897 Caslon Improved Double Case. The upper case bay should be shown with the top two rows smaller than the bottom four rows, which are larger to allow more room for the capital letters.
