This U.S. case belongs to Brad Miller in the U.S., who has been using it since 1965, and which dates from much earlier, but has no identifying marks. It is very similar to the Two Third Yankee Job case that can be derived from the full-size Yankee Job shown, for example, by BBS in 1893 and 1907 and ATF in 1906 and 1923. However, that Two Third has only two rows of 8+8 boxes at the top of the case, whereas this Two Third has three rows, i.e. it has 16 more boxes in the upper case section. Note that there has been some confusion between Yankee and California job cases, as to which used 8+8 rather than 7+7 in the top rows, with this being transposed from full-size to two-third size in some specimen books, and it may well be that the extra top row here is yet another variation, or that the case is neither Yankee nor California. The case size is 21½ x 16½ inches.
